Thursday the 17th of June saw the opening of the new Tate Modern Switch House, designed by Swiss architectural firm Herzog & De Meuron, the firm responsible for the Beijing National Stadium, Prada store Tokyo and the original Tate Modern Bankside Power redesign.

Current exhibiting artists include Kader Attia, Marina Abramović and Carl Andre.
